Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Integrated Pest Management is a system that utilizes all available means to manage pest problems with an emphasis on monitoring for pest thresholds, cultural practices and education. Pesticides are used as a last resort.

Practices Used to Prevent or Control Pests
Prevention includes intensive customer education on mowing and irrigation practices that encourage optimal lawn health, combined with appropriate fertilization practices.

Yes, minimal applications only after all cultural options have been considered. The Healthy Lawn program does not utilize chemical applications without customer approval.
