Minimal use of pesticides and emphasis on monitoring, sanitation and exclusion are standard procedures. Pesticides used by the Green Team are restricted to natural and naturally derived products as much as possible.

Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM is a method of situational pest control using least toxic methods for solving pest problems. Pesticides are used as a last resort while relying on identification of pests and conducive conditions to develop an appropriate management strategy.
