Services/Products/IPM Description
Range of Products and Services
We are a full service IPM specializing in school IPM. Our company has a philosophy of using pesticides as a last resort. We offer a complete IPM program covering all pests including head lice. Head lice are managed using Lice B Gone, an enzyme based shampoo from Safe Effective Alternatives. We incorporate all available non-toxic alternatives, and certain least toxic alternatives if they meet our criteria of safety. We feel that it is very important that our clients understand that our solutions are not going to be a bigger problem than the pest they called us for. Currently, we service Ohio and Michigan. Our methods and products are being used in Pennsylvania and New York.

Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM is simply a tool chest with an assortment of specialized tools for any given pest. Some pests will be controlled using only one tool, while others will require the integration of several tools. We believe that using pesticides should be the last step of a good IPM program. IPM should not mean "Include Pesticides Monthly," but rather it should mean "Include Pesticides MAYBE." Our IPM involves a change in philosophy from see a bug, spray a bug to see a bug, manage a bug.
How Pest Problems Are Identified
Problems are identified by our educated clients and our staff of certified applicators. We have daily monitoring of pest problems because we educate our clients to do this. Sightings or reported problems are kept in a log which is part of our IPM manual for each building we service.
