Services/Products/IPM Description

Range of Products and Services

We have located products that allow us to service buildings during construction, an existing building for prevention and an infested building for mold and for wood destroying insects. We can do this in most instances without removing the occupants from the building. I am able to provide control for multiple chemically sensitive households with normally once a year service.

Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)

Integrated pest management is the use of non-chemical, non-polluting, long-lasting, non-toxic, preferably natural products that can maintain control of insects as well as mold in a building.

How Pest Problems Are Identified

I do not think it is necessary to schedule unneeded trips to a client, they should be able to recognize as need.

Tools, Practices, and Materials Used/Sold

Practices Used to Prevent or Control Pests

I use biological as well as least-toxic management techniques.

Biological Controls Used?

Natural cleaner for caterpillars.

Borates Used?

Yes. I use boric acid in wall voids and under eaves outside, as well as in crawl spaces; Cedar oil added to borate is excellent for control of wasps.

Top Ten Pesticides Used/Sold/Recommended

Diatomaceous earthborates, compost tea, effective microorganisms, cedar chips and cedar and natural oils.

How Effectiveness of Pest Management Systems is Evaluated
