Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
IPM is a three-step process: sanitation, exclusion, and only as a last resort, if at all, use of pesticides. Pests are a symptom - fix the problem and the symptom will go away.
How Pest Problems Are Identified
We have a 64-point checklist to inspect and identify. An overall view of our method is to inspect exterior, interior, attic, crawlspace and garage. Next identy three sources of the pest in each space: the conditions for harborage, the avenues for insects to enter the structure, and sources of insect infestation.
