Timothy Ireland

Timothy Ireland – Greensboro, NC

Tim has been in contact with Beyond Pesticides for help and resources the last couple
years, starting in 2022. Timothy now lives in Greensboro NC and is in a battle where he has
two sons, a 7-year-old and 10-year-old, who are living with their mother, his ex-wife, next
door to the Greensboro Country Club, and where the sons are exposed regularly to the drift
from the landscaping pesticides used. (Golf courses regularly use 4 to 7 times larger
amounts of pesticides than average landscaping). The two sons have been getting sick
constantly and every time tested are coming back with positive tests for higher levels of
glyphosate exposures. Thus far, however, Timothy has been unable to convince
authorities to intervene in the situation to protect his children.

Mr. Ireland continues doing whatever he can to get any newspapers or others to
make any further story for awareness on the situation.
After making the speech in the below county hearing video on February 1st 2024, Timothy had
to bring one of his sons into the hospital for his 6th experience with pneumonia.

Tim continues doing additional fund raising to work with lawyers and has a video
that can be seen of him testifying with the Guilford County Board of Commissioners
on his experience. The video is posted on Guilford County's Facebook page.
Timothy’s 3-minute testimony starts at Minute 28.47 on the following link.

Timothy states, - In Feb 2020, my children became violently ill, vomiting many times throughout
the month. The home lies adjacent to the Greensboro Country Club where I have observed
heavy spraying. An irrigation ditch dumps runoff storm water onto the property. The home’s
well is old and had benzene oil and sediment discovered by state officials. A doctor’s
recommended urinalysis found glyphosate, organophosphates, industrial toxicants and more in
urine (3 tests)
