network. IEC performs legislative advocacy and serves as the environmental
community's eyes, ears and voice in Springfield.

The Richman Coalition, a grassroots coalition that was formerly
the North Shore Coalition Against Adulticiding, changed its name
to honor Jack Richman, an outspoken environmentalist who was active
in the movement against spraying adulticides for mosquitos. The
Coalition is a a member of the Alliance
for Informed Mosquito Management (AIMM).

(formerly Safer Pest Control Project) is a non-profit organization which seeks to reduce the health risks and
environmental impacts of pesticides by promoting safer alternatives in
urban and rural Illinois. SPCP is a member of the School
Pesticide Reform Coalition, the Alliance
for Informed Mosquito Management (AIMM), and the Lawn Care Coalition.
