Definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Using a wide variety of applications to manage a pest population, with chemical application as the last choice.

Through monitoring and inspection. Monitoring can be visual use of traps, or any technique that will identify a pest.

Practices Used to Prevent or Control Pests
Trapping, physical removal, habitat modification, sanitation practices, common sense, exclusion.

For termite control.
