Three Springs Farm
Emily Oakley and her husband, Mike Appel, have farmed three organic acres of hand-crafted vegetables and fruits on their Oklahoma farm, Three Springs Farm, since 2003. They were first certified in 2007. Before starting the farm, Ms. Oakley worked with a community gardening nonprofit in Rhode Island and interned at Fully Belly Farm in California. She received a Masters in International Agriculture from UC Davis. Ms. Oakley served on the National Organic Standards Board from 2016-2021.
