Dr. Dan Scheiman is bird conservation director for Audubon Arkansas, a state office of the National Audubon Society, based at the Little Rock Audubon Center. Dan has a BS from Cornell University, MS from Eastern Illinois University, and PhD from Purdue University. He and his coworkers advocate for birds, restore wildlife habitat, and help Arkansans improve their local environments. Since 2018 he has been advocating for restrictions on over-the-top use of dicamba while documenting dicamba’s off-target impacts to native plants on public lands.
