Environmentally friendly pest control by true pest control artists. Service to restaurants and food service accounts only. No termite work.

What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

Elimination of pests using alternative methods (ie exclusion, structure modification, lures, traps, sanitation, caulking, sealing, etc) with pesticides used only as a last resort, and then only odorless, vaporless crack & crevice treatment.

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Monitoring is done monthly. Inspection is done monthly or as needed for roaches, ants, mice, etc. No termite work performed.

How are pest problems identified?

Identification is done using Victor pheramone roach traps, glueboard, sticky traps, tanglefoot, duct tape. Plus, we work with the Department of Entomology at the University of Kentucky.

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

Prevention and control of pests are done with exclusion, inspection, trapping, landscaping, plastic, duct tape, cement and plastic compounds.

Do you use biological controls?

Biological controls include fungus and Bio Blast (fungus) and pheromone traps.

Do you use borates?

To a limited extent only. BoraCare, Terro ant bait, etc (boric acid).

Do you use synthetic chemicals?

Occasionally, we use CB Aerosol products (pyrethrins), non-residual or flushing only, plus Drione dust (pyrethrin).

What are the top 10 pesticides you use/sell/recommend?

We use what we described above. We recommend glueboards and terro ant bait OTC (boric acid) to customers.

If pesticides are used, how much are used per year of each?

Crack & crevice treatment are used only and of that, less than 3 cases of aerosols are used per year and around 7 pounds of Drione dust per year.

Does your company perform habitat modification?

Yes. Eliminate mulch, moisture, pruning, removal, etc.

Do you use any physical or mechanical controls?

We use duct tape for cracks and crevices, putty to seal wall voids, metal traps and heat treatment in small areas.

What type of fertilizers do you use/sell/recommend?

Superior by far to the competition.

What do you usually use/sell/recommend for addressing:

termites Did Not Respond (DNR)

cockroaches Glueboards and pheromone traps.

fleas DNR

carpenter ants Landscape modification.

fire ants DNR

ants (indoor) Terro ant bait.

crabgrass DNR

dandelions DNR
