What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

IPM is an environmentally responsible method of controlling pests. We apply the proper nutrients to the soil which helps restore the natural balance--the way nature intended it--so that pests do not become an issue in the first place. In addition to prevention, IPM also relies on controlling and monitoring.

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Jolly Green Planet does not apply any toxic chemicals to control pests. Our lawn care practices build a healthy strong lawn that can naturally resist pests.

How are pest problems identified?

Staff has knowledge of different pests in order to identify.

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

To prevent pests we start use cultural practices, such as proper watering, adequate nutrition, mowing and aeration. We also encourage using plants/turf that is naturally resistant to pests.
