pests and provide a treatment sheet, which explains where the pesticide

is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)? |

IPM is the use
of many procedures to provide a pest-free, safe and healthy environment.
IPM is largely an inspection, monitoring and pest prevention program.
Application of pesticides and other devices is made when necessary
to eliminate a pest problem. 1)ID pests and associated problem. 2)Monitor
infestation levels. 3)Know cultural or alternative methods. 4)Know
recommended methods of judicious pesticide application. 5)Know the
hazards of pesticides and the safety precautions to be taken. 6)Know
the pesticide label's precautionary statements pertaining to exposure
to humans or animals. |

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule? |

We provide services
monthly, quarterly, and annually. Outside treatment of the structure
seasonally, depending on the pests. For instance, stinging insects
build nests in the spring, carpenter ants are active in warm months. |

are pest problems identified? |

An inspector
identifies the pest, evaluates the severity of the problem, and,
if needed, recommends treatment. |

Monitoring is
done to see if the action threshold has been exceeded and what prevention
can be done. Prevention methods include sanitation and repair, using
physical and mechanical controls such as screens, traps, weeders,
