What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

To use the safest methodology possible to control pest problems without harming people, pets or the environment.

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Monitoring is performed on a monthly schedule. If a pest problem is found, one of 1700 safe and far more effective alternatives are used.

 

How are pest problems identified?

Via monthly check-ups, along with a staff that is trained to look for, and correct, all conditions conducive to infestation.

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

Do you use biological controls?

Occassionally we use ladybugs and we use enzymes.

Do you use borates?

Yes, for treatment of termites - use borates only as a last resort.

Do you use synthetic chemicals?

We do not use or recommend "registered" pesticide poisons.

Yes. Caulking, screening, dehumidifiers, cleaning, fans, door sweeps, vacuums, paints, dusts, lights, etc.

Vacuums, fly swatters, traps, lights, fans, (see habitat modification).

What type of fertilizers do you use/sell/recommend?

Organic/Composted Chicken manure - Get Set Grow.
