We use non-chemical methods; electrogun, microwave and direct heat. Heat can be used for individual units, rooms or the entire house structure. We also use Timbor (form of boric acid) for dry wood termites. Subterranean termites are treated with Premise injected into the soil surrounding the structure.

What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

Looking for the living areas and killing the colony by removing the source of food and water and using least toxic methods in order to get the best results possible.

 

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

Initial inspection and service comes with a two year warranty. Yearly renewals after that.

How are pest problems identified?

Yearly inspections.

Electrogun, Microwave, direct heat, Timbor and Termidor (for subterranean termites).

How do you evaluate effectiveness of your pest management

Each customer is requested to complete a questionnaire regarding the qualify of service provided by the Company and its employees. Our Warranty provides for re-inspections for two years, after which the customer is offered a lifetime renewal option. Ecola has been serving their many communities since 1983.
