What is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)?

Pest management is achieved by introducing natural predators that will not harm the soil's environment, but have the desired effect. We do soil testing, soil amendments and other services that work together holistcally to manage and prevent pests.

 

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule?

We offer a pre-emergent weed control in the spring and fall. Mid-July we offer a grub control/prevention product.

 

How are pest problems identified?

Pests are identified by observation and soil testing.

 

What practices do you use to prevent and/or control pests?

Our lawn program is designed to create the optimum environment for lawn growth. Weeds only grow whenthe soil is not balanced.

We use predatory nematodes for grubs and other beneficial insects.
