in high end residential design/build project. Our maintenance division
offers commercial presidential services to a wide range of clients. |

What is
your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)? |
|
The planned
monitoring of turf, trees, and shrubs by a licensed pesticide applicator
trained in disease and pest identification. This individual will have
the resources and ability to treat specific problems when they reach
a pre-determined threshold. |

Is pest management performed on a specific schedule? |
|
Visits are
made at least once per month, two times in May, June, and July. Problems
encountered- caterpillars, sawfly, aphids, scale, mites, cinch bugs,
webworms, grubs, fungus, adelgid. |

How
are pest problems identified? |
|
Identification
by site or damage causes. Response will be at least a notation, at
worst a specific pesticide application. Cultural pruning and re-application
of horticultural oil would be appropriate moderate responses. |

do you use to prevent and/or control pests? |

We use a
very well-constructed organics program to maximize the turf's and
plants' natural defenses. |
