We have been
solving pest problems in the metropolitan Washington, DC area since
1925. We have always been technically oriented and our staff entomologists
ensure that we remain abreast of the latest technical advances and
regulatory changes as well as provide constant technical support.
We specialize in IPM programs for highly sensitive areas such as hospitals,
nursing homes, day care centers, research facilities, manufacturing,
and food facilities. For those do-it-yourselfers, we maintain a fully
stocked retail outlet at the Takoma Park office including information
sheets on most pests. |
|
What
is your definition of Integrated Pest Management (IPM)? |
|
On our regularly
scheduled visits we will identify specific areas in your building
and within your offices where pests are likely to occur. We will monitor
these areas visually and/or with sticky traps. We will only use a
control agent when we find physical evidence of pests or someone in
the building reports the sighting of a pest. Most pests can be controlled
with odorless vaporless baits that are placed out of sight in areas
that we know to be frequented by the targeted pests. |
