Gateway on Pesticide Hazards and Safe Pest ManagementBeyond Pesticides has created a new database tool that is intended to provide decision and policy makers, practitioners and activists with easier access to current and historical information on pesticide hazards and safe pest management, drawing on and linking to numerous sources and organizations that include information related to pesticide science, policy and activism. The toxicological and environmental information presented in the Gateway for each chemical is sourced from a wide variety of U.S. and international resources and databases including information from U.S. regulatory documents, the National Institutes of Health, National Toxicology Program, International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), California's Proposition 65 list, University Extension Services, the European Union and others, including peer-reviewed scientific studies.
