Beekeepers need to go on “strike” and say they refuse to allow their bees to be poisoned by these pesticides that are weakening their immune systems and leaving them vulnerable to all sorts of mites and viruses. CCD is MAN MADE and not the fault of the bee. Greed has made this situation and the only way to get free from it, is to stop spraying poison onto trees, running off into drinking water and into the air and killing bees. Bee keepers need to be advocates for the helpless creatures that have been depending on them. Bees are starting to realize that the beekeeper is more interested in a profit than protecting them, so they leave their hives. This may sound silly, but bees are very intelligent creatures, and when migratory beekeepers truck them all over the country and then expect them to work in hazardous conditions, they must go or die.
