This is a very good news for bees and for us. I think that the increasing use of insecticides expecially in corn and vineyard is destroying also the swifts. I remember thath just ten years ago in late summer there were hundreds and hundreds, maybe thousands of swifts flying happy over the corn fields. Today you can count them in few half scores. It was a natural way to control the population of corn insects, today people use tons of pesticides that go down in water and we drink them. What a wonderful world we are creating!ciao

Our colonies have not been performing well. Our winters are hard on honeybees.

The hazardous people that push these damaging technologies also need to be suspended from something. Any suggestions?
