I was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma from the effects of glyphosate used in spraying of agriculture fields in the Santa Ynez valley. This is a terrible product which should never be used in the drinking water coming from Lake Tahoe. Anything that kills living plants or animals will also kill human beings.

Never have I been to Tahoe but would imagine when it comes to regards of human consumption the lake should be left at its natural state, regardless of the color of water. If the clams and culprit plants pose no harm to people why would we poison ourselves..

The article quotes Carl Young, “I think honestly this is coming down to human health issues. They can say all they want that [pesticides] won’t harm people, but it’s poison and it can kill things.” I disagree.
