I have seen several Cotinis Mutabilis beetles in my yard, which are often mistaken for their cousins: the Japanese beetles (Popillia japonica); and Green June Beetles (Cotinis Nitida). The Cotinis one DOES NOT destroy fruit crops or lawns like their cousins do.

Darn near everybody I know in Sac County has been continuously sick this year from poor air quality. It’s all people talk about in the grocery lines!
I haven’t been able to spend nearly as much time outdoors as I’d like to.
For those of us “canaries” who are instantly affected by pesticides, I beg you to please not spray.
In the LEAST: please give Sacramento residents widespread and ample warning of spraying via newspapers and television.
