Thank-you very much for this article which relates autism to environmental contamination. Lay people have identified but don't have the credentials to assert the relationship.

Governments and the majority of allopathically-trained medical practitioners will not address the CAUSES of disease and developmental problems.

"Live a healthy life style" in a poisoned environment is a laughable, if not insulting remedy told to citizens.

Citizen groups are beginning to realize that if the rising incidence of these health problems is to be addressed, they must do their own community health assessments and remedies.

More than 125 communities in Canada have passed bylaws to prohibit the cosmetic use of pesticides. Quebec has a province-wide ban.

The assumption of responsibility at the community level is in spite of the Federal Dept of Health's assertion that the chemicals are "safe if used according to label instructions".

We are not dependent upon the Government for regulation. Nor upon credentials to take effective action to protect the health of our children, grandchildren and other species.

An informed citizenry sharing information, such as this provided by beyond pesticides, working together -thousands and thousands of us in countries around the world will bring about a change in values. We will stop the production of patients for the system. It is the humane approach.
