DEET is designed for direct application to human skin to repel insects, rather than kill them. Approximately 140 products containing DEET are currently registered with EPA by about 39 different companies.

I am chemically hypersensitive due to an exposure to crop dusting pesticides oversprayed to my property.
I cannot use most perfumes, soaps, cleaners etc & have had to find alternatives.
I have found mixtures of essential oils for mosquitos, flies, cleaners, etc for use around my family and my horses. I make them myself after much research, and can tolerate them, as well as finding them effective. Please visit either of my websites for comments or questions.
