Here are some facts about Dow's chlorpyrifos well contaminations -
)Dow required homeowners to use Dow's decontamination procedure for wells before Dow would even test for chlorpyrifos.
)Dow knew their decontamination procedure using super chlorination was converting odorous chlorpyrifos into non-odorous chlorpyrifos oxon.
)Dow knew that chlorpyrifos oxon is 3,000 times more toxic to humans than chlorpyrifos.
)Dow reported less than 2% of all well contaminations they dealt with even though FIFRA required them to report all.
)The well contaminations that Dow did report are unverifiable because Dow refused to provide indentifable information to the EPA.
