In 1994 a letter to the JBAA predicted that pollinators would be exterminated by the light at night creating the 24 hour day.
Professor Gerhard Eisenbeis in 2006 has described insects being sucked to their deaths, as if by a vacuum cleaner, by light at night. You don’t need pesticides to kill bugs when you have the 24 hour day?
