I suddenly was ill the weekend of Sept.20, 2008 with headache, weakness, irritated eyes, stuffy runny nose, diahhrea. Then we smelled a heavy toxic chemical smell and droplets were falling on us although it was not raining. Then overnight all insects disappeard. I have 36 acres of no spray and the bumble bees, wild honey bees, dragonflies, butterflies were thick. Just gone. I am surrounded by Christmas trees farms. I have asked the DOA for help and am spending $$$$ to test for pesticides to see what is on the property. The birds exhibited strange behavior and tadpoles died in the pond. Then foliage began to exhibit unusual and negative dieoff. it is now Nov 7 and I am still working to get to the bottom of this. The consultant who advises the adjacent x-mas tree grower on pesticides now says they sprayed Element in September. The loss of the healthy thriving environment has been devastating. And the lingering effects on my dogs, the land, and my family health is a huge concern.
